Financial complaints watchdog poaches Westpac, ASIC talent

All five silos within the financial complaints watchdog will be run by women after two new ombudsmen were appointed on Sunday.
Westpac’s Suanne Russell has been poached to be the Australian Financial Complaints Authority’s small business ombudsman while one of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s top insurance executives, Emma Curtis, will become AFCA’s insurance ombudsman.
