FC Capital loaned $120m to fruit grower chaired by its founder

Sydney-based financier FC Capital extended more than $120 million of loans to a struggling fruit grower of which its founder and former chief executive is the sole director.

The financing which included loans that were converted from senior debt to equity were extended by FC Capital to Nutrano Produce, which is chaired by FC Capital founder Brad Prout.
