Ex-ANZ exec says he was sacked for reporting alleged sexual harassment

A former ANZ employee is claiming he was victimised and fired after blowing the whistle on an alleged incident of sexual harassment at a conference in 2013, and after complaining about the treatment of wholesale deposits for regulatory purposes.

In a claim made in the Federal Court, Angus Graham, former head of money markets, alleges ANZ’s knowledge he had made several complaints between 2010 and 2014 as the reason he was excluded from meetings, his role was made redundant, he was not considered for another major role, given any title, not awarded his bonus and fired.
