Companies back off on floats
The market for initial public offerings continues to be tough, with as many as 20 small-cap companies known to be sitting on the sidelines waiting for financial markets to improve before taking the plunge.
So far in 2012, there had been four IPOs, said HLB Mann Judd corporate finance director Geoff Webster, following the release of the firm’s Small Cap IPO watch yesterday. These are Cassini Resources , Red Gum Resources , Sunbird Energy and Blue Sky Alternative Investments .
