The managing director of the country’s largest stockbroker, Commonwealth Bank’s CommSec platform, has told the company that he will resign at the end of June.

Richard Burns has headed CommSec, which provides equities trading and margin lending services, since 2018 when he returned to the business after a stint at Aussie Home Loans.
