BoQ cuts jobs, tweaks IT to revive bank

Bank of Queensland is cutting dozens of jobs while re-igniting ambitions of better use of technology to revive the struggling lender.
The latest strategy for 156-branch BoQ unveiled on Thursday contained a mix of new and old tactics. “We now know exactly what needs to be done, and we're getting on with it,” BoQ chief executive George Frazis told The Australian Financial Review.
