Big Un CFO quizzed accountants on revenue recognition as early as 2014

The former chief financial officer of collapsed ASX listed tech play Big Un Limited asked accountants whether the company could recognise revenue on invoices to customers of its video services that they were not obliged to pay, a court has heard.

In a Federal Court examination as part of the liquidation proceedings of Big Un, Mr Andrew Corner was questioned by the liquidator’s solicitor, Ben Katekar SC, about e-mail exchanges with accounts at Ecovis Clark Jacobs and Gunderson Briggs.
