Big Un auditor charged by ASIC over 2017 accounts

The Perth-based auditor of failed ASX tech play Big Un has been charged with making a false and misleading statement by signing off on the since collapsed company’s accounts.

Graham Rothesay Swan, 65, appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on Friday after the corporate regulator brought charges against him relating to his role as lead auditor of the 2017 audit. He faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment or a fine of $42,000, or both.
