ASX is considering a sale of its $14.9 million stake in blockchain play Digital Asset Holdings after the bungled attempt to replace the exchange’s ageing clearing and settlement system.

ASX chief executive Helen Lofthouse told the parliamentary inquiry last week that the investment was made to ensure Digital Assets was “robust” enough to complete the work. Alex Ellinghausen
