Arbitrageurs sniff out iSOFT gold

The odds of US outsourcer Computer Sciences Corporation being forced to lift its 17¢ per share bid for stricken health software developer iSOFT have firmed.

The odds of US outsourcer Computer Sciences Corporation being forced to lift its 17¢ per share bid for stricken health software developer iSOFT have firmed.

London and Hong-Kong-based hedge fund Centaurus Capital has revealed that it has snapped up more than 5 per cent of the stock over the last few weeks as speculation intensifies that a counter offer from a United States suitor could yet materialise.
