United States private equity firm AGR Partners has a 19.5 per cent stake in listed agribusiness Ridley Corporation , sources told Street Talk Online on Monday.

Guinness Peat Group (GPG) announced it had sold the 19.5 per cent stake for $54 million on Monday morning. The sale valued Ridley at 90¢ a share, well above its 78¢ close on Friday.
