Experts nominate mixed bag as key picks
While small caps will probably continue to lag their larger rivals, on the perception they are a riskier proposition, a number are tipped to perform relatively well.
The small end of the market suffered its worst one-day fall in nearly a month on worries of an escalation in the European sovereign debt crisis, which shook United States and European markets on Friday.
The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries shed 3.65 per cent yesterday, and risk assets are likely to remain on the nose due to the lack of near-term resolution for the European problem and weak US economy.
