Western Australia, traditionally a heartland of onshore oil and gas exploration, is experiencing a crisis in its drilling activity that can't all be blamed on the depressed oil price.
Rather, WA's junior explorers are convinced that an upsurge in paperwork and bureaucracy required even to set foot on their exploration ground is largely to blame.
