Anthony Albanese was in campaign mode when he appeared in front of news cameras on the shores of Wollongong’s Lake Illawarra on Friday. Unfortunately for the prime minister, a group of local anti-renewables campaigners also had something to say.

While announcing the new Labor candidate for the NSW seat of Whitlam, Carol Berry, Mr Albanese was heckled by protesters from Responsible Future Illawarra, an activist group that opposes offshore wind farms in the region.
