This $1.8m tower will plug the wind turbine skills shortage

Australia’s first wind turbine training tower will skill up young people as the country’s renewable energy sector is set to face a jump in demand for workers.
The $1.8 million tower, based at Federation University’s campus in Ballarat, two hours west of Melbourne, will simulate working at heights in an onshore wind turbine.
