A key Beetaloo Basin gas explorer has struck deals to sell to major energy companies Shell and BP as it prepares for an initial drilling campaign next month.

Tamboran Resources told shareholders on Friday that it had also selected APA Group, the pipelines giant, to connect the Beetaloo project to both an export terminal in Darwin and the East Coast network in 2028.
