Santos is set to expand the pipeline of new Australian fossil fuel projects after it made the country’s second-largest oil reserve discovery in the past five years, virtually ensuring the construction of a $2.7 billion oil and gas project off the coast of Western Australia.
Santos and Carnarvon Energy expect to make a final investment decision on Dorado by mid-2022.
