Queensland warned about its ambitious renewable energy target

The Palaszczuk government will be warned about the risks of its ambitious 50 per cent renewable energy target at an urgent energy stakeholder meeting to be held in Brisbane on Thursday.
With federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor under pressure over not calling a COAG Energy Council meeting this year, Queensland Energy Minister Anthony Lynham has vowed to "go it alone" because of a vacuum in national energy policy.
