Queensland gas rights granted with manufacturer supply promise
An APLNG-Armour Energy joint venture has been awarded a gas tenement in south-west Queensland which has to be used exclusively for the Australian manufacturing sector.
With ongoing concerns about east coast gas supply and manufacturers being priced out of contracts, the Queensland government on Monday will announce APLNG-Armour Energy has won the successful bid for 18 square kilometres of land, 22km south-west of Chinchilla.
