A rise in global gas prices has injected some excitement into the energy market ahead of a profits season where investors are otherwise preoccupied by risk of project cost blowouts and delays, and the economics of new investments.
Ukraine’s seizure of the Sudzha hub in Russia’s Kursk region has helped lift Asian LNG prices to their highest level this year amid concerns about supply disruptions to Europe.
