Full split ‘absolutely an option’ for AGL

Investors believe a full demerger is on the cards for Australia’s oldest energy utility after AGL Energy said it would hive off its huge coal power plants into a separate business.
This will allow the core retailing activities to emerge as a zero-carbon electricity supplier.
