The first cargo of liquefied natural gas from the $US34 billion Wheatstone project has finally left Western Australia, bound for Japan.
JERA, one of Chevron's foundation buyers, will receive the maiden cargo for delivery into Japan. The cargo is being delivered by the Asia Venture, one of Chevron's new LNG carriers.
