LNG harvest time sows seeds for the next cycle
Matthew StevensColumnistWith the rich bounty acquired through the now exhausted boom in liquid natural gas investment being harvested with ever more productive efficiency there is emerging hope that explorers are laying new foundations for the next investment cycle.
For the half decade after Santos opened the great east coast gas export race with a final investment decision on the Gladstone Liquid Natural Gas (GLNG) project back in January 2011, the gas sector invested in growth at better than $12 billion a year.
