Kellogg's signs up for solar power amid volatile price outlook
Kellogg's has become the latest manufacturer to sign up to a long-term contract for the purchase of renewable energy as both wind and solar project developers and industrial energy users seek protection from volatile and uncertain electricity prices.
Under the deal signed with New Energy Solar, the cereal maker will buy power from New Energy's Beryl solar farm in NSW until the end of 2026, with the potential to extend for a further three years.
