Infratil targets Asian renewables growth

Just a month after completing the $1.9 billion sale of Australia’s Tilt Renewables, New Zealand-based Infratil has committed more than $300 million to set up a new Asian renewable energy outfit targeting strong growth in wind and solar generation in the region.

The new outfit, Gurin Energy, will develop new wind and solar power projects across Asia, with an initial focus on the Philippines, Thailand and Japan.
