Woodside Petroleum is building a business case for investment in facilities that would support the domestic distribution of the liquid natural gas that is being pumped to global markets from its Western Australian processors.

Australia's original LNG operator is contemplating an investment of about $50 million on an LNG refuelling facility that would be built off the back of its Pluto project at Karatha in Western Australia's north west.
