Greens claim victory but AJ Lucas's Cuadrilla keeps fighting

London | Anti-fracking campaigners have claimed victory against Cuadrilla Resources, the British shale gas explorer half-owned by ASX-listed AJ Lucas, saying the company has started moving equipment off its Preston New Road site in northern England.

"Fracking in the UK is now dead. Cuadrilla's test drilling at Preston New Road Road was the flagship scheme, and it's gone badly," Friends of the Earth campaigner Jamie Peters told The Sunday Times.
