Origin Energy has lured Contact Energy chief financial officer Mark Elliott for the role of general manager, commercial energy markets. He will commence on July 2, 2012.

After three years of commuting across the ditch from his family home in Melbourne, to the Wellington-based electricity provider Elliott says both family and career considerations made it a win-win opportunity.
