Brisbane firm to build huge zinc battery in California

Brisbane-based battery company Redflow has secured an $18 million deal with the California Energy Commission to build one of the world’s largest zinc-based battery and storage projects.
As Australian companies clamber to take advantage of incentives and tax breaks from the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act, Redflow has gained a significant foothold in the lucrative North American market.
