Australia can leverage its advantage to achieve net zero goal

As we look ahead to the UN climate change conference in Glasgow, it appears the world has reached a turning point in decarbonisation.
Reaching net zero emissions in electricity, or close to it, will make an important direct contribution as this sector generates about one-third of Australian emissions. It is also a sector that enables other parts of the economy to meet lower emissions target as they electrify.
