American nuclear set for biggest overhaul in history
A divided Congress has just agreed to speed up nuclear reactor development. The president will sign off on it next week.

US President Joe Biden is expected to sign into law America’s biggest overhaul of nuclear energy regulations next week, after Congress overwhelmingly backed a bill to cut red tape and revive an ageing fleet of reactors.
The legislation represents the most significant action on clean energy that a divided Congress has passed since the Inflation Reduction Act almost two years ago.
