AJ Lucas pins hopes on reversal of fracking ban

London | Mining services company AJ Lucas remains hopeful it can revive the political fortunes of its British shale gas play Cuadrilla Resources, saying a government ban on fracking could yet be overturned next year.
Late last week Britain's energy minister Kwasi Kwarteng told the BBC that "fracking is over", seemingly making permanent a moratorium on operations at Cuadrilla's shale gas exploration site in the north of England.
