The dust is yet to settle in the Atlas Iron takeover battle, but it has already made a couple of things clearer about Chris Ellison's Mineral Resources.
One is that the Financial Review Rich Lister's company is quick to take a punt if it sees value. The other is that Mr Ellison has enough good sense to fold his hand when the odds turn against capturing that value.
