Downer investors submit anti-Adani resolution for debate at November AGM

Downer EDI's board has been asked to change its constitution to prevent it from taking on work that contributes to climate change by shareholders opposed to Adani's $16.5 billion Carmichael coalmine.

Galilee Blockade, an activist group that has been waging campaigns against Downer, has organised 150 retail shareholders to send a letter to Downer proposing a special resolution to be voted on at its annual general meeting on November 2.
