iSOFT founder and former chairman Gary Cohen has failed to trigger a pre-emptive right over major shareholder Oceania Capital Partners’ stake that would have given him three weeks to find an alternative buyer for the company.

The NSW Supreme Court ruled on Friday afternoon that OCP had not agreed to transfer its shares to iSOFT suitor Computer Sciences Corporation.
