Staff reporter BB Power progress Babcock Brown Power said it had made substantial progress in negotiations on the restructuring of debt owed to its two major finance providers, the Babcock Brown Group and a syndicate of banks that lent to a subsidiary, BBP Finance Australia. Staff reporter Monitor farms out Monitor Energy will farm out an interest in its Kyrgyz Republic uranium project to Raisama. Raisama has agreed to buy a 75 per cent interest in Monitor's subsidiary, Business Sphere, which owns the Kashkasu II uranium project. Staff reporter Gold reserves rise Gold reserves at Kingsgate's Chatree Mine in central Thailand rose 14 per cent to June 30, said the miner.
