GLOUCESTER COAL
The coal miner says its interim profit fell as prices declined and shipments were disrupted by port congestion at Newcastle, NSW, which pushed 10 per cent of first-half sales into January. The company planned a major increase in production after discovering the 30-metre thick Clareval seam at its Duralie project in NSW. Stephen Wisenthal
