London City Equities, the major shareholder in CCI Holdings, has rejected the 31¢-a-share takeover offer from chemical and minerals testing company Campbell Brothers. London City owns 13.5 per cent of CCI and its chairman, Peter Murray, has been installed as chairman of CCI. Campbell Brothers made a $41 million all-cash bid for CCI last week. Tracy Lee
