A big oil flow from the Jeruk 2 wildcat well pushed Santos shares up sharply yesterday. Jeruk flowed at a rate of 7488 barrels of oil a day. Santos's exploration geologists had previously calculated the Jeruk field could contain up to 170 million barrels of recoverable oil if the structure was filled with oil.
