Brazin performs well

Music and fashion retailer Brazin yesterday announced a six-fold increase in net profit of $12.01 million, up from $2.05 million last year. The sale of the retailer's Entertainment UK operations for a one-off profit of $3.2 million and a focus on the growing DVD and music market at home has helped performance. Brazin's Entertainment Australia division reported strong improvement with comparative sales up 16.8 per cent, bringing growth for the year to 15.4 per cent. Women's lingerie chain BNT has also performed well for the company with sales up 4.9 per cent to $101.6 million. Tracy Lee
