Avalon Minerals says it has excellent initial results from recent metallurgical testwork conducted on iron and copper-rich samples from the D Zone at its Viscaria project in northern Sweden.

Preliminary un-optimised flotation results indicate the ability to achieve 87.4pc recovery of copper from flotation testwork, 23.7pc copper concentrate grade with 4pc mass recovery and flotation tails containing 96.6pc of feed iron.
