Perth-based GRD expects an earnings windfall of up to $14 million this year after its construction subsidiary, Minproc, secured its largest mining-services contract, for a project worth $US1.2 billion ($1.63 billion).

The contract is for work on a Brazilian nickel project with mining giant Comphania Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD).
