Resources boutique RFC Corporate Finance and Perth-based broker Euroz Securities are raising $170 million for African mineral sands play Base Resources .

As Financial Review Street Talk reported Base Resources shares were placed in a trading halt on Wednesday morning as the brokers started raising for a $140 million placement and $30 million in a three-for-one rights issue.
