Australia an 'expensive' market for tollroads, says new Atlas Arteria CEO
Australian tollroads are pricey but Atlas Arteria would consider "the right opportunity", incoming chief executive Graeme Bevans said as the tollroad group confirmed it was on track to separate from the Macquarie Group by mid-May.
"Australia is a fairly expensive market as we've seen with the WestConnex sale," Mr Bevans told The Australian Financial Review after Atlas Arteria reported an 88 per cent drop in annual net profit to $59.9 million.
