Trump will hit clean energy and any nation linked with Asia
A former adviser to Donald Trump has warned that it will be less attractive to invest in the clean energy transition or in assets turbocharged by Western countries engaging with Asia if the Republican presidential candidate retakes the White House in November.
Anthony Scaramucci said Trump’s refusal to believe in climate change and protectionist approach to taxation and trade with China would “set back” the potential of these previously growing investment areas.
