Disruptions to supply chains caused by the coronavirus now pose the biggest threat to the nation’s farmers and fishermen, the Department of Agriculture says.
The threat is two-way, with problems getting produce to export customers and constraints on the supply of farm chemicals, fertiliser, machinery and packaging from overseas.
