Huon Aquaculture has sunk to a full-year loss of $128 million as Andrew Forrest tries to torpedo a takeover offer from Brazilian meat processor JBS and end all fish farming in Tasmania’s Macquarie Harbour.
If the Forrest camp were to succeed in ending farming in the harbour, it would have an impact on Huon, its ASX-listed rival Tassal and for privately-owned Petuna Aquaculture.
