Buderim Ginger (BUG)
Year-on-year, Buderim’s earnings before interest and tax improved largely due to in the ginger and Hawaiian macadamia segments.
Revenue from ginger sales declined to $13.7 million from $14.4 million last year because of crop shortages, while the group’s Australian macadamia business posted lower revenue than the previous year because of reduced exports. Tourist park revenue also fell during the period because of an 8 per cent shortfall in visitors.
