Australian Vintage rehires CEO it sacked for ‘lack of judgment’

Australian Vintage, the ASX-listed wine producer behind the McGuigan, Tempus Two and Nepenthe labels, has rehired the chief executive it sacked for a lack of judgment less than six months ago.

Craig Garvin, who left in May, has returned to the company under a new board and said he is not bitter about his past treatment. Australian Vintage had never detailed why Mr Garvin was removed, saying he “displayed a lack of judgment … inconsistent with the values of the company”.
