AAPT on hold in Telecom NZ switch

Telecom Corporation of New Zealand, the largest telephone company across the Tasman, probably had its first loss in 14 quarters with a write-down in value of its unprofitable Australian business before a possible sale.
Telecom may post a net loss of between $NZ410 million ($372 million) and $NZ520 million for the three months ended December 31, after the write-down.
